581677_10151927237309829_438213879_nRound 13 was a more successful outing for Boro than in recent times, with 2 wins and a draw.

Team#1 played North Heidelberg A and were confronted with some of the tallest players in the league at both ends of the court. Team#1 was very competitive in the first half, but then Nth Heidelberg used their height to great advantage. Extra hard work in Q4 prevented a score blow out for an 11 goal loss.

Team#2 had a solid workout against South Morang Blue to hold on to 4th on the ladder. After an even start, Team#2 kept the work rate high and the game under control. Strong defence created more possessions for the attack to generate a very nice 5 goal win. Go Boro !!!

Trying to stay in touch with the top 4, Team#3 played South Morang Gold in 4th. A fantastic start stunned South Morang in the first half but Team#3 lost momentum. Solid defensive circle work prevented the loss being greater than 7 goals. Team#4 took the opportunity to jump into 4th position with a commanding performance.

t6 defenceAfter a quiet first quarter, Team#4 fired up for a big 27 goal win by controlling the court with some terrific netball. Go Boro !!!

Team#5 took on competition leaders Fitzroy Stars C. In a titanic struggle, Team#5 lifted to the occasion with a solid team effort and were looking winners when our dominating GK was controversially injured and could not continue. Fitzroy got back into the game to draw 22-22.

Team#6 played with two new faces against 3rd position Keon Park Stars. It took over a quarter for Team#6 to settle down, then they were just as good as this top 4 contender, keeping up well. Strong defence limited the result to a very commendable 10 goal loss.
