Round 14 GNC report

IMG_0095[1]Round 14 provided 3 tremendous wins for Boro.

Team#1 put together their biggest of the season so far. A very high work rate against Montmorency A produced relentless full court pressure and quality goaling opportunities which created a stirring 22 goal win. Go Boro !!!

Team#2 got the jump on Watsonia A early for a comfortable 6 goal halftime lead with some great attacking netball. Watsonia rallied in the second half but Team#2’s defenders held them out for a well deserved 2 goal win. Go Boro !!!

Team#3 took a little while to fire up against competition leaders Bundoora Comets B in the first half, but rallied in the second to finish strongly with a very respectable 7 goal loss.

Team#4 struggled in the first half against Whittlesea B. After regrouping, Team#4 managed to arrest the slide and be much more competitive in the second half to restrict the loss to 13 goals.

Team#5 gave their finals hopes a big boost with a quality display against Thomastown B. From start to finish, Team#5 used height to great advantage and put together a fantastic hard working effort for an impressive 20 goal win. Go Boro !!!

Team#6 played competition leaders Fitzroy Stars C and gave them a great run for their money in the first half. But they are the top team for good reason and punished any mistakes made by Team#6 in the second half who ended with a 17 goal loss.
