Mixed fortunes for Greensborough Netball Club in round 6 with some very close games & many players unavailable for selection.

Team#1 put in a brave performance to keep within a handful of goals of Nth Heidelberg A for most of the game, but Nth’s solid shooting was too good & the loss was 11 goals.

A skillful game for Team#2 & South Morang Blue with both teams putting on a goal shooting clinic. Team#2 trailed by as much as 7 goals in the final quarter, then fought back to almost draw level but time ran out and ended up with a 3 goal loss.

Team#3 had an incredibly exciting game against Epping Blue with the lead changing 10 times and scores even at three quarter time. Some tremendous defence by Team#3, collecting 8 telling intercepts in the last quarter to secure a fantastic 2 goal win.

Team#5 played in yet another close game, with scores level at three quarter time against Heidelberg West Hawkettes, and the lead changing several times until then. But Team#5 let some important scoring opportunities go begging and this resulted in a loss by 6 goals.

Team#4 had a bye & Team#6 won by forfeit.
